4 Ways for Bloggers to Mind their Health

This is me lugging a 50 pound propane tank 3 miles into the town center of Savusavu, Fiji.

You can’t spend money from the grave.

You can’t enjoy the spoils of your pro blogging career from a hospital sickbed.

As a guy who has lived a pretty dang healthy, high energy life I assure you that taking care of my body and mind had as much influence on my blogging career as any other factor.

All the online hacks ain’t working if you’re hacking up your lungs.

All the tips, tricks and techniques won’t work one bit if you feel too miserable to put these strategies into action.

Health may be the first wealth but it’s also the foundation of my blogging success because blogging is an energy game before all else.

1: Spend 30 Minutes on Mindset Daily

As within, so without.

All the blogging success you crave occurs in the inner world.

When you develop a winner’s, abundant, inspired mindset the results of this mindset will reflect back to you in the form of increased blog traffic and profits.

Most bloggers completely skip mindset work and wonder why they struggle to make money or drive traffic through their blogs.

Blogging is an energy game.

Blogging is an inside-out gig.

I spend 30 minutes meditating every day. I also pray for a few moments before leaving my bed and set an intention to do everything I do from a place of love.

Once you get your inner world clear you will feel happier, healthier and of course, the wealth follows a loving, generous, grateful, abundant-feeling blogger who follows their fun.

2: Exercise for 1 Hour Daily

I just returned from an hour long walk around Central Park.

I like spotting celebrities. Celebrities may like spotting me (Blogging From Paradise *is* gaining some traction ya know?). But the chief benefit of my NYC exercise sessions is increasing energy flow throughout my body.

If energy flows freely throughout your body you remain healthy.

If energy stagnates anywhere in your meat suit you get sick.

Walk, jog or run for an hour daily. Take care of your home.

Just talk to your doctor if you haven’t exercised in a long time.

3: Take 5-10 Minute Hourly Breaks

Do you feel like a chicken with its head cut off, running wildly through your blogging day?

Take a break.

Or, take an hourly break to ease your anxieties, to dissolve tension and to promote your peace of mind.

Breaking every hour for 5 to 10 minutes detaches me from my work a little bit each break. Which calms me. And which helps me feel more relaxed, focused and energized through my entire day.

If I feel exhausted I drop everything and take a nap. Napping restores my energy and peaks my power.

Take frequent breaks. Take care of your health.

If you really feel tired or overwhelmed and don’t know what to choose, just snooze.

4: Breathe Deeply throughout the Day

Breathe deeply throughout the day.

Breathing deeply energizes you, invigorates you and draws your mind back to the present moment if it was worrying about the future or fretting about the past.

Stop right now. Take 5 to 10 deep, slow breaths. Feel tension dissolve from your meat suit. Observe how quickly and easily your mind returns to the present moment.
