From my perspective the top 5 videos on YouTube are: How-to videos, vlogs, gaming videos, comedy and prank videos. I am going to write about one type in specific. The purpose of the “How-to videos” is to help audiences learn how to do a specific task. Google says most popular “how-to” searches include home-improvement, beauty and cooking related videos. The target audience can be everyone who is trying to figure out how to do something. If you feel you have a skill, ability or technique that you are happy to demonstrate, then making a how to video is the best way to share it with the world. Just as Google is many people’s go-to when they are in doubt, how-to videos on YouTube are just as dependable for most. The best thing about watching how to do something as opposed to reading about it is that you can really see the whole process.
Videos make it easier for people to follow along for themselves. Nowadays, people tend to watch videos to learn to do things. The producers keep the viewers engaged because they are doing a video that is going to help to clarify other people’s doubts or concerns. These kinds of videos will get you views. You just have to remain consistent and make sure you’ve got good quality.
